The Fault in Our Stars Written by John Green

John Green has surely done it again with The Fault in Our Stars. The story is about a young lung cancer survivor named Hazel Grace who's been living off of a breathing machine and borrowed time for quite awhile. Her parents force her too return to her Cancer support group where she meets Augustus Waters. Another cancer survivor in his own right. The two of them evidently fall in live and set out to live the rest of what their lives have to offer. The Fault in Our Stars is a book that will leave you in tears from crying and from laughing. I would suggest this book too almost everybody as it can be enjoyed by everybody.

Passage: "There will come a time when all of us are dead. All of us. There will come a time when there are no human beings remaining to remember that anyone ever existed or that our species ever did anything. There will be no one left to remember Aristotle or Cleopatra, let alone you. Everything that we ever did and built and wrote and thought and discovered will be forgotten and all of this will be for naught. Maybe that time is coming soon and maybe it's millions of years away, but even if we survive the collapse of our son, we will not survive forever. There was time before organisms experienced consciousness, and there will be time after. And if the inevitability of human oblivion worries you, I encourage you to ignore it. God knows that's what everyone else does."

The absolutely true diary of a part time indian.

The absolutely true diary of a part time Indian is a fictional novel written by Sherman Alexie. Its about a teenager named Arnold Spirit Jr who lives on a first nation reserve with his Mom, Dad, Sister, and Grandmother. It talks about life on the reserve with his best friend Rowdy, and how Arnold gets treated after he leaves the school on the reserve to join a school off the reserve. As I was reading this book i found myself laughing on every other page! I would rate this book a 9/10 as it is strictly for teenagers and older because of its explicit content. You can find this book at the literary and I guarantee you will be hooked after the first 30 pages.

Here is a passage from the text: "My head was so big that ltiile inidian skulls orbited around it. Some of the kids called me orbit. And the other kids just called me globe. They would pick me up, spin me in circles put their finger down on my skull, and say, "I want to go there".

Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer

This book is an amazing book because it is a true story and it is full of action and disaster and it is really sad at some moments, this book is about Jon Krakauer's disaster story of his Mount Everest expedition in the year of 1996. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy reading about action or like reading sad stories. by Sheldon B

Go Ask Alice -Anonymous

Go Ask Alice is about a 15-year-old girl who is taken away from her loving family and friends to a world of drugs. She moved to a different town, which meant different school. She made a new friend at her new school too. Her new friend had took her to a party, in which they had played a party game. The party game was everyone had a cup but only one had LSD in it (drug). She had the cup, after that night she had promised to herself she would never get addicted to any drugs or alcohol. That was a lie, I am in the middle of the book now and she is addicted to every single little drug and would do anything to get it, She even ran away from home 2 times to stay in her addiction. I personally love this book, it honestly makes me think of next year (high school) and makes me think of what we will do. I won't attempt it , take any chances or anything.                                                           -Toria Cahill
